A great Antique 19th C. Southern Pottery Stoneware Redware Glazed Field Ring Jug or Flask. Excellent Condition no chips, cracks, or repairs, slight manufactured roughness. Measuring 11 5/8″ high the outer diameter is 10″ inner is 6 3/4″ x 1 1/2″ thick, top rim is 1 1/2 weighing 2lb 11oz no markers marks. Great larger form all hand tooled with great glaze throughout colors of magnesium brown and alkaline green some small areas showing bisque clay. Used for field work you could hang it on your saddle as well. A great Southern Pottery Piece, early to mid 19th C. Rare to finds these stoneware pieces.
