Roberts Binghamton NY Stoneware 4 QT BATTER JUG 19. Roberts Binghamton, NY Stoneware Batter Jug. Salt glaze stoneware jug has a generous pouring spout in the front, a lower stoneware handle at the base and a wire and wood bail handle at the top, all surrounded by a deep cobalt blue glaze. Back is stamped W Roberts Binghamton. In good antique condition, there is a chip at the back rim, minor chipping at the rim of the spout, small tight hairline crack at the base and a small chip at handle commensurate with age and use. Handle also shows rusting, please see all the photos. A wonderful piece of Americana and a great addition to any stoneware collection!
