RARE Antique ISAAC HEWITT RICES LANDING PA Stoneware Stenciled Blue 1G Crock Jar

This listing is for an Old Vintage 19th Century Isaac Hewitt American Salt Glaze Stoneware Pottery 10 3/8 Tall Crock / Storage Canning Jar. It looks like a 1 Gallon size. It is stenciled with I. HEWITT JR RICES LANDING, PA. (photos 5 and 6). It has some other cobalt blue decoration above and below the stencil. I believe it was made in the 1870s. It is in excellent antique condition overall with no cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Just a small nick on decorative ridge near top (photo 12). Usual discolored areas on sides. No other chips or damage that I can find. Top rim and base edge are perfect! It looks very clean and shiny! Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. It is pretty thick and heavy weighing over 5 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 10 3/8″ tall, about 7 1/8″ at widest part of body, about 6 1/4″ across top rim with a 4 13/16″ diameter opening, and 6 at the base.
