A gorgeous antique Large Gray White French confit jar. Wonderfully aged & textured, It can be used in any decor in all seasons. Used in a French home or possibly a French restaurant as it is a little larger. Historically made to store liquids & preserved foods such as olives, fruit and other items in the cellar. Thick, heavy structure to keep items cool. No holes in the body of the pot and still retaining the two side handles but there are a few chips throughout which gives it great patina & authenticity. Perfect display piece for an authentic French Farmhouse decor. The number 32 appears at the top of the pot. Found in the Burgandy area of France.
