A wonderful 19th century (assumed) single handled canning or fruit jar/jug in beige with fantastic orange sunbursts. STRONG orange peel glaze with brown spatter throughout the beige field. Interior a standard brown. A few chips on the rim as shown in the photos, one possible chip fully under the base that is highlighted in the photo. I don’t know how a chip would get there, not being on an edge, may be a manufacturing flaw. Note the light kaolin clay used in this piece. Very possible it’s Anna Pottery but I cannot guarantee that. The colored spatter within the beige field is one of their pottery’s characteristics on many utilitarian pieces, and the clay looks similar to other known verified Anna pieces I have in my collection. Also the darkening of the rim compared to the rest of the beige exterior. Weighs in at about 5 pounds 4 ounces. 10 1/2″ tall, 6 1/2″ diameter. The photos were taken outdoors on a cloudy day with no flash, the colors are fairly correct, depending on the settings of your screen or monitor. It is a shade or two darker than photographed. I want to earn your business! If you are pleased with the product and service from me, please leave 5 stars on all detailed sellers ratings (star ratings or DSRs) when you are leaving feedback, it helps. If you are not satisfied please notify me of the problem so we can resolve any issues to your satisfaction. See my other items, it’s all gotta go! “I changed my mind” is not a good reason. I know AMC, not the other makes. You know your car and its parts much better than I do. I welcome new ebayers to my auctions! After all, we all had zero feedback once. I do not clean or recondition items unless as noted in the ad, usually only to confirm condition of the item where condition may be hidden by dirt or grime. If I’m listing parts for other makes/models it’s because I ran across them and would rather see the parts get to a fellow car enthusiast who can help better their car with them, than see them go to the crusher. “I changed my mind” is not a reason! Original packaging must be used when returning items. The item “19th C salt glaze beige jug jar withhandle brown burnt orange stoneware pottery” is in sale since Friday, June 12, 2020.
