Rare Antique 19th Century Stoneware Crock & Lid – Caledonian Pottery Glasgow. A rare, lidded stoneware crock produced by the Caledonian pottery of Glasgow, Scotland. C 1860, before they moved their operations from St Rollox to Rutherglen. Rare survivor in such great condition, and with the lid, which is also unusual. Standing around 7″ tall with a c8″ rim and c7opening. There are small losses to the rim, but it’s in remarkable condition for its age. Great piece of Glasgow history, perfectly useful as a storage container to give the kitchen a great antique look. Measurements / Dimensions are shown in the photographs.
