This listing is for an Old Vintage 19th Century Large 9 (23 cm) English White Ironstone Compote. It was made by Pratt and Simpson of Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. It is Pedestal Footed and has a shallow bowl on top and could be used as a display stand. Also has Impressed “18”. It is in great condition overall with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There are just 2 small spots on tops with stains (photo 12). Could probably be bleached. Also some surface scratches, not too bad. Otherwise very clean and white! No other issues that I can find. It measures 9 1/8″ (23 cm) across top rim, about 4 1/2″ (11 cm) tall, and 4 3/8 at the base or foot.
