RARE ANTIQUE BENNINGTON FACTORY JUG NORTON POTTERY VERMONT STONEWARE CIRCA 1820. A very rare antique stoneware jug marked Bennington Factory. It measures about 11-1/2 high and about 8 wide. Tapered ovoid shape, cobalt around end of handle, where joined. Grey salt glaze, top has small mouth, opening is under 1. There is a large surface crack in the front, some tiny hairlines, blemishes, a chip above the word Bennington, a few other tiny chips, handle is in very good condition.
