Up for sale is this really neat salt glaze German Westerwald butter churn. It has a 1 on the size so I estimate this to be a 1 liter size churn. It has a beautiful design of blue. The handles are striped blue too! Such a pretty churn! It comes with lid and dasher as pictured. It measures 5 1/2″ tall to the top of the crock and 13″ tall to the top of the dasher stick. No chips or cracks. As this is a hand made piece it will have the usual small glaze misses and imperfections typical of old handmade pottery. A gorgeous churn to add to your salt glaze or primitive collection!
