Isak Isaksson Large Stoneware Vase 58 CM Swedish Contempoary Ceramicist
A large unique vase in a stunning blue crystalline glaze designed by the contemporary Swedish artist Isak Isaksson in his own studio. The vase is 58 cm high and in mint condition. Isak Isaksson was born in 1949 and is one of Sweden´s leading contemporary ceramic artists. Isak has become a master in throwing and a specially in glazing. Isak has been exhibit numerous of times all over the world and in 2019 he received the title of certified ceramic master the highest recognition in Swedish pottery. He is a master of the crystalline glazes which makes his artworks really unique. Isak is the only westerner who has received the Sen Hounzai Soshitsu Prize in Japan for his chawan.
