PATTERSON NJ James Bell CO SCRIPT JUG. Antique Salt Glazed Stoneware Jug Made for James Bell of Patterson NJ, Market street address at number 105. This jug is solid and in great condition and has three lines of script writing in cobalt blue in the Fulper style. This is a four gallon size jug with no cracks or lines I can see. Clean jug with a small shallow chip to the mouth and nothing else I can see. The handle looks strong and fine. Rings nice and solid. Some news paper stuck on the bottom I might clean off and all very solid for a jug 120 years plus. Measures approx 18 inches high and 11 inches in diameter. Properly packed for safe travels.
