This exceptional piece has a sleekly curved globular shaped form with stepped horizontal ribbing creating striking angles indicative of the era. This stunning example stands proudly upon a squat footed base which beautifully elevates the form, allowing it to be appreciated from every angle. The perfectly proportioned vessel has been finished in the most spectacular rich blue glaze with random mottles of metallic gold atop. The rich blue and glistening gold is a most attractive and extravagant combination.
