Up for sale is a very rare antique 18th century handmade stoneware and pewter tobacco jar. The jar is sculpted out of thick brown salt glazed pottery walls and has very dimensional floral detailing. It’s mounted with a pewter collar and threaded lid, there is also a removable pewter lid that sits recessed inside the thread. It is in nice condition and measures 4 5/8 inches tall by 3 inches wide.
