Up for your consideration is what I believe is a rare antique/vintage stoneware crock with #2 marking, Ace High Brand. I really have very limited knowledge of stoneware. It does have beautiful markings in a still vibrant cobalt blue of a bi-plane airplane. There are great colors and markings on this crock. There are definitely signs that it was well used. There are no breaks, cracks or chips that I see. There are craze lines an a hairline surface crack as shown. This is a 2 gallon crock, I believe. A great piece with fabulous colors.
