Clark, Jr Stoneware jug with a stunning cobalt floral design of the seedpod of an Iris. The 11 1/2 tall jug is in exceptional condition (and double boxed to stay that way). The impressed stamp is of Nathan Clark, Jr of Athens N. He ran the family pottery business from 1843 to 1891. The older pieces sported this style stamp while the newer ones were stamped in a circle. 1845 is going to be close.
