A wonderful piece of early American folk pottery. A salt glaze stoneware jar decorated with painted floral decoration in cobalt slip. Possibly made in Baltimore ca 1860. Similar to pieces made by Parr but not 100% sure. The surface has a orange peel finish. One tight thin line in the base. Rings like a bell. The item “Mid 19th C.
