You are viewing a rare Antique Stoneware Pottery Advertising Jug from Blue Island, Illinois. Probably a 1/2 gallon, Stenciled blue in what I would call box letters this jug reads, Leviton Bros. Wine & Liquors, 334 Western Ave. Cant be sure of pottery company, I lean towards Buckeye Pottery Co, others say Macomb or Monmouth… I will post photos of the handle for this can be an indicator of the pottery company. Measures shy of 9high with a 6 base. Condition is decent, definitely solid, minus a chip at the shoulder rim, some visible chipping on the bottom and base as can be clearly seen in the photos.
