BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE E. & L. P. NORTON STONEWARE JUG With ELABORATE FLORAL BOUQUET

We have recently moved and unfortunately do not have room for all the beautiful crocks & jugs we have collected over the years, although tough to part with, it is time for someone else to enjoy this beauty as much as we have. This is a wonderful antique 2 gallon Stoneware Jug made & stamped E. This beauty sports a clear maker’s stamp w/ cobalt wash and one of the signature Norton Stylized Floral Bouquet w/ hard to find hidden bunny on the left side. This bouquet is more stylized and larger than most, measuring 8 from top to bottom! Applied with a slip cup using nice shiny cobalt. The jug measures 14 tall & weighs a little over 8 lbs. It is in excellent condition for age, a minor 1/4″ flake on top of spout towards the back (see photo), 1/4″ chip and a couple of flakes on the bottom of handle (see photo), some surface only craze lines from age around the base (solid), little separation on handle, but solid (see photo), no repairs have been made to this piece.
