Monumental Sipe & Sons Williamsport PA Tobacco Leaf 2 Gallon Blue Decorated…. This is a rare beaty for sipe and sons. It was potted in Williamsport, PA in the 1880s. This piece is in pristine as made condition with only a couple minor flaws in the making. There are no chips or restoration. The only flaws, on close inspection, is a drying crack under the salt glaze as pictured at the base that is very small and doesn’t affect the integrity of the jug and a blemish under the base of the jug. It will hold water without leaking. Same decoration and stamp pictured on a crock in the made of mud publication for PA stoneware. The jug measures 12.5 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide at the base.
