Early Squat Shaped Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Floral Cobalt Blue Decoration
This is a great oversized squat form ovoid stoneware jug. This piece has some surface discoloration, scuffs, kiln kisses and firing flaws present. Other surface wear and defects present. Small chip at base. The decoration is unique in that it has a large floral/ flower shape design to the front and a smaller size floral decoration on the side. There is a large cobalt 3 on the other side near top. Nice cobalt accents to top and bottom of the handle. The top has a slight bend to neck. There is a shallow rim nick. This item may have wear and tear consistant with age, imperfections and effects from aging. Please view pictures for details. Contact me with any questions.
