Aafa 19th C. Rare Blue Decorated Stoneware Boston Baked Beans Crock

So pleased to offer this very rare late 1800’s stunning blue decorated stoneware Boston Baked Beans lidded bulbous crock manufactured by White’s Pottery in Utica, New York. This is a beautiful example of a very scarce crock with raised lettering encircled by raised floral and leaf decorations on the front side and a raised 3-dimensional image of a couple enjoying the beans surrounded by flowers and leaves on the reverse side. It has an applied handle with thumb grip that is also blue decorated. The tooled collar and neck band feature very detailed blue designs of diamonds, flowers and leaves. It comes complete with a floral decorated lid with top knob and measures 10″ wide including the handle, 5 1/2″ wide at the base X 7 1/2 high. The last 2 photos show an old base chip that measures approx. There are no other chips, cracks, breaks or hairlines on this piece and the blue decorations are outstanding!
