BELMONT AVE NJ STONEWARE. For your consideration is a turn of the century stoneware crock from a Belmont Ave purveyor in Newark NJ. Great logo with a pecking bird in cobalt glazed crock, No cracks or lines and rings well. A couple of old ping chips as shown in the photos and a rough glaze area on the backside from the kiln fire. There is also a chipped rim base area I also show in the photo. These spots are all old , solid and stable.
