This is an excellent, mid 1800s stoneware cheese strainer with Albany slip glaze. In wonderful condition with no cracks. There is a spot on the bottom that I dont believe is a chip, but a small glazing error, of which there are a few. Please look at the pictures to see condition. These pieces are getting more and more rare in this condition. It is quite heavy weighing about 7 1/2lbs. The number 4 is embossed on the top lip. It measures about 12 tall and 7 3/4 wide.
