Listing is for a really really hard to find, beautiful large antique salt glazed gray German stoneware pottery wood barrel shaped wine & cider punch bowl tureen with matching lid, hand painted cobalt blue details all over, molded relief (fruit around the sides & top of lid), 2 handles on the sides, a space/hole on the lid for a ladle (not included) and a sitting & drinking long beard German man/dwarf/gnome on the top of the lid from the late 1800’s – early 1900’s in the Westerwald region of Germany. Measures About: 10.25″ tall with lid, 8.7″ wide with handles, 3.7″ diameter wide top opening, 6.1″ deep, 6 diameter wide around middle. “42” – Bottom Stamp.
