RARE Antique 8 Gallon Large Red Wing Union Stoneware Pottery Crock with Bail Handles. For your consideration is this antique Union brand 8 gallon stoneware pottery crock. Features the large red wing logo, the Union Stoneware stamp, and a large “8”, as well as bail handles. Measures approximately 16″ tall x 15″ wide x 14 in diameter. This is in antique pre-owned condition. Estate found; Excellent for display. Markings a clear with very little fading. No chips, but a few nicks.. There is a crack on the left side of the crock, near the bottom (pictured), which does not take away from the look of the piece in our opinion. One of the bail handles is missing the wood grip; It can either be replaced or the other grip can be removed for uniformity.
