Antique Burley Winter Heart Brand Stoneware Tankard Set
We offer a handsome 5 piece tankard set circa 1900 by the Burley and Winter Pottery Co, Crooksville Ohio. Marked on bottom, Burley & Winter Pottery Co, Crooksville, O with heart. Has an embossed man smoking a pipe on one side and a windmill to the other. Beautiful high brown glaze. The pitcher is 8 3/4 tall. The mugs are 4 3/4 tall. Very Good to excellent condition with some glazed skips as expected with this type of pottery. Some inside inside crazing to some of the mugs. One mug has a manufacturing stress mark that does not go all the way through at top rim. Lovely display for your stoneware or pottery collection.
