Parshalls creations can be found in private collections as well as in museums such as the Houston Museum of Fine Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her work has been shown from the East Coast to the West Coast including the Pottery Nationals in 1956, 1960 & 1962. Parshalls pieces have been referenced in ceramics periodicals including Ceramics Monthly issues from the 1950s and 1960s 11.1953; 2.1960; 1.1966; 6.1966 etc. She often partnered with artist Denis Chasek (please see the photo of the original Akron, Ohio pottery studio label). This stunning abstract piece is signed and has JP impressed twice, one on each side of the base. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, hairlines, scratches, stains, or repairs.
